A short update on my graduation ceremony before I hit the sack. Haven't felt so tired in a long time......
The day started off pretty badly. Not that I'm trying to be negative about life but seriously I just need to rant it somewhere.. which I did, on twitter.

1. On my way to school, I lost my camera's memory card. How unlucky is that? The cab driver spent a good whole 5mins helping me to look for it but to no avail. I was so frustrated with myself. The memory card didn't drop into my bag either?! As a result I had to use Yannni's cam for the whole day.

2. The weather was horrible.

3. I needed to change my graduation robe from an S to an XS. I told the cab driver to drop my mom off at Makan Place and me at Blk 27. MY MOM TOOK THE GRAD ROBE WITH HER. I called her 10 times and can't even hear. I had to spend a good 10 mins walking back to makan place just to look for her.. under the merciless sun and in my killer heels.

4. I was late for the briefing. It ended the moment I stepped into the theatre. LIKE WHUUUUT?!


It is no wonder my idol always say, the thing you focus on enlarges. You focus on negative things and you get a whole bunch of it. Couldn't agree more and this is the shit I faced today.

More positive things to share;

Thank you Eileen for taking a picture of me even though it was pretty blur. My mom and aunt is trying to be funny (which I thought it was really funny). When it was my turn, they stood up and cheered for me. LIKE THE BOTH OF THEM DOING THIS ONLY. Thank God they are sitting at the parents side and not the graduands side. 

The funny part? My aunt actually screamed "FIGHTING! FIGHTING!" 

This is Singapore NOT Korea! My aunt simply replied "Singapore's style of cheering is too boring lah. Must follow Korea, more hyper and exciting!" I get where she is coming from but I've already fought the battle and won what. What am I supposed to be fighting for and besides I'm just collecting a cert? =/

But I was touched cos she bought me a Graduation bear ;P


Elaine is really one lucky girl to have her family and all her friends around! =)

My dad, sisters, boyfriend couldn't make it. Many people asked me why my bf didn't come (cos he is working) and I was whining away. And this cute friend (I can't rmb who) said "aiya why angry? He is working now for your future what..."

An entry on my cruise trip. This may be my 3rd time but the last time I went on cruise for holiday was about 10 years ago :/

Bella Vista! The place we had our dinner on the first night!


Went to the lido right after dinner to catch some musical. I slept during the first hour of the performance. Was so damn tired right after that meal seriously.





Swimming pool! Went to swim on the 2nd day and I was nearly scalded to death when I soaked myself in the Jacuzzi!





Never really used the gym though! 


My 10 year old cousin who (probably) runs faster than I do.

Went to Pulau Redeng on the 2nd day and I swear it was one big mistake. It is basically an island for adventurous people who wants to dive and stuff. Part of the reason is also cos the weather was unbearable!!! Its like you can die of heatstroke anytime.


We have 4 hours to walk around but my family went back to the cruise after 1.5 hours. =/


 


Can't believe my mom actually embarrassed herself by going up ROFL. Still, it was an act of bravery hahaha.


Went to Lido right after dinner for some magic performance. Apparently it wasn't as good as The Illusionists of course hahaha! Spent $30 on some retarded bingo game and sadly we walked out with nothing :( On a brighter side, it wasn't my money. I'm not somebody who is into gambling cos I don't believe that luck can fill your stomach. I'm somebody who cannot afford to lose!! Lost $5  when I played coin dozer in the casino on the first day and THATS IT. Im out of that place....

The thing I enjoyed most everyday is probably just eating and sleeping!!!! I had 3 meals a day and the worst thing is, I had breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper in two different places! I wanted to try all the food and hungry wasn't in my dictionary during the 3 days! THATS ALL FOLKS ;)

"I really love life like this. Being able to have meals in restaurants on a weekday when everybody is working." 

zy told me this sentence is his source of motivation. I said I didn't need him cos I have a pair of hands. I can survive so long as my limbs are intact. I can work!

"I don't want you to not need me. In fact, I want you to depend on me. I'm working hard now to give you all these in the future."

So glad that I own a blog. It is blog over facebook, anytime. And yeah, day 3 is here before I know it. It was also the highlight of the whole Beijing Trip. It was really awesome and I'm glad to be in Beijing to see everything. Awesome shit!

Attended a National level conference on the 3rd day and it was impressive!!!!!

We were sitting quite far behind until someone actually told us to move to the VIP area. Fyi, the VIP seats are the first 3 rows from the stage & we happened to sit in the 3rd row!

Had breakfast early in the morning during the 2nd day and that was also the last time I had breakfast provided by the hotel. Look at the standard of food for a 5 star hotel. :/ It was really oily.



But anyhow, we were all prepared to visit the showroom after a not-so-hearty breakfast!

Shall do a day by day update instead of doing a summary of my trip in one post. This is gonna bore my die hard fans lolol. I took like almost a thousand pictures in 4 days and painstakingly filter out the ones I like better. Went through every single pictures! All in all, I have to say this is an amazing trip & my idol told me that in two months or so, we'll be flying to Fo Shan or Hang Zhou to view the showrooms and stuff. HOW EXCITING CAN MY LIFE GET ^^


Didn't sleep the night before and that explains my very tired looking eyes. Still, i was still full of energy that very day! Part of me was excited cos I haven't been to China before & that I'm going with my friends this time round <3

Personally I've never wanted to go to China. My impression of the country is that it is for old people/ tourists. Or maybe those who loved Chinese culture or history. Lol.

Went up to Ritz Carlton the other day. Was shocked to know that walk-in rate per night is $1k+. And Gabriel actually stayed in Ritz Carlton for a month! But he got the room at a slightly cheaper rate? If I'm not wrong its about $500 to $700 per night. Do the math yourself ;)

Mad excited for Beijing Trip! I guess I'm excited because I'll be going overseas with so many friends that I know and most importantly, boyfriend <3 Some of my friends might already know that my parents (especially my dad) wouldn't allow me to go overseas with friends. Thankfully I've an awesome mom who lied for me..telling him it was a school trip. YAY LOVE HER.


One does not simply ignore me when I say I wanna order Mac.

Went to Poiyee's place for dinner last night. Man. I had like whuuut? Two bowls of rice?
I felt like I gonna explode right after the meal. 





Stoned at the sofa right after dinner. Feel so lazy to move.


Was so tired to even move that night but i was kinda "forced" to go to Mink. It was kinda crazy but enjoyable night! Had dimsum right after the club close at 4am.
